The construction projects continue to progress this year in and around our building. Our current facilities were built in 1995 and with the continued growth of our company, we have found ourselves in need of several upgrades and expansions. The completion of the driver’s lounge was a major milestone reached this summer! Our old driver’s lounge having served us well for 20 years, just wasn’t big enough anymore. The 5 seat kitchen table and 19” TV that we had all become so familiar with, has been replaced with a 70” TV, a laundry room, 2 showers, and seating for 20 people. Our drivers have 24 hour access to the lounge and we have already received a lot of positive feedback on this new addition to our building.
In August we began phase 2 of the building expansion with the foundation of an upper and lower level to be tied into to our existing building. This expansion will give us some much needed office space as well as providing a much more user friendly and flowing office. We will also be adding a very classy main entrance complete with a beautiful lobby area for our visitors and guests. This will give us an additional 2,600 Square feet of office space on the upper level and 2,200 square feet on the lower level. This project will be going on through the winter and at times it will provide us with some inconveniences but, nothing we can’t handle and nothing that won’t be worth the wait! Once the upper level of the new addition is finished, our office staff will move into the addition and continue operations while the construction crews then begin work on remodeling our current office space. Once that remodel is finished, we will then disperse staff throughout the building to their new permanent work spaces. All said and done our office building will have grown from its original 3,000 square feet to 11,000 sq. ft.!
